If you want to review your leave balances or perhaps how much annual leave you need to use before the leave cut-off date, this articles explains how to do this. You can also view how much leave you have taken this year.


The Exchange offers paid vacation and sick leave to Regular Full Time (RFT) and Regular Part Time (RPT) employees.  To confirm your vacation and sick leave balances, you will first need to access Employee Self Service (ESS). To access Employee Self Service (ESS): 

AT WORK: Log onto the Exchange intranet home page at  Under ‘Quick Links’ select ‘Employee Self Service’ and enter your TSS ID (‘Y’ number) and password.   

AWAY FROM WORK: Go to myapps.  Enter your Lan ID and password.  Once logged in, click on Employee Self Service (ESS).  See Access Exchange Systems from Home

After accessing Employee Self Service, select Employment under the ‘Personal & Work’ Section.  This will provide you with your leave balance as well as detail the number of leave hours already used for the year.
