If you are away from work for an extended period, you retain return rights to your position if:
- Probationary period completed
- Period of absence does not exceed a total of 180 calendar days of combined leave (sick, vacation and LWOP) or 90 calendar days LWOP, whichever comes first. (Union contracts may vary.)
- On approved Family Medical Leave (FMLA) - during the full FMLA period.
