Most associates are authorized time off for holidays when the holiday falls on a scheduled workday provided they are in a pay status the scheduled workday before or after the holiday. Time off is given when the facility is closed on the actual holiday or on the day the holiday is observed. All categories of associates get the holiday off, with pay, when the holiday falls on a day they are scheduled to work,. Associates that are required to work on the holiday receive holiday premium pay for non-overtime actually worked on the holiday. For additional information see EOP 15-10, 4.127 and 13.81.
