Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Spread Prevention

As a reminder, the pandemic continues to spread in the U.S., and we must continue to do our part to stay in front of the situation and reduce the spread of COVID-19. It will be challenging, but if we each do our part, we can maintain a healthy home and work environment.

If you are sick:

  • And home, stay home.  Don’t come to work
  • Follow normal call-in procedures to notify your supervisor
  • At work, notify your supervisor immediately and go home
  • Avoid other associates and customers
  • In either case, seek advice from your healthcare provider

If you are not sick, but suspect you have been exposed:

  • Stay home until 14 days after last exposure
  •  Maintain social distance (at least 6 feet) from others at all times
  • Self-monitor for symptoms
    • Check temperature twice a day
    • Watch for fever, cough, or shortness of breath, or other symptoms
  • Avoid contact with people at higher risk for severe illness
  • Follow CDC guidance if symptoms develop

How to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Maintain social distance (6ft or 2 meters) from each other
  • Don’t share phones or equipment
  • Avoid large gatherings
  • Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds regularly; use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not readily available
  • Practice good cough and sneeze etiquette
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Keep your work area clean and regularly sanitize with disinfecting wipes or spray
  • Always wear a face-covering or mask if social distancing cannot be maintained
  • Wear masks correctly, as directed by the CDC
