Executive Order - December 24th Declared Federal Holiday
The President of the United States, by Executive Order, has declared Thursday, December 24, 2020 a federal holiday. All federal/executive branch departments and agencies will be closed, except those that cannot close for reasons of defense, national security or other essential public business as determined by agency officials.
The Exchange will release all non-mission essential personnel from duty on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the discretion of the region or directorate Senior Executive. This day will be treated as a federal holiday for pay and leave purposes. Any leave (annual/sick) scheduled for Dec 24th will be cancelled and paid as “holiday not worked”. Associates required to work on Dec 24th will be paid Holiday Premium Pay in accordance with EOP 15-10, paragraph 13-81.
