COVID-19 Cases Increasing - Things you need to know
As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, we need to do our part to ensure the safety of co-workers, family, and our communities. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), multiple variants of the virus that causes COVID-19 have been documented in the United States and globally during this pandemic. Also, the CDC has reported, as of 6 Jan 21, there has been over 227,692 new COVID-19 case in the United States. The need to wear a mask is extremely important during these challenging times.
Three Important Ways to Slow the Spread
- Wear a mask to protect yourself and others to stop the spread of COVID-19.
- Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from others who do not live with you.
- Avoid crowds. The more people you are in contact with, the more likely you are to be exposed to COVID-19.
